I'm curious
I'm trying to get prices on a generator kit (generator, belt, all needed parts to make generator work) but i cant seem to find any.
Engine Details

1967 Johnson Super Seahorse 40HP

Recently my pullstart mechanism broke for the 8th time and i'm getting tired of replacing peices. Biggest issue i keep having is for some reason the center bolt kept sliding out and getting caught on the pullstart ratchet, and all the bolts holding it down keep stripping the threads in the block when i pull it.

TL,DR Where can i find a generator kit?

I think he meant to say these places:

sea-way.com
outboard-parts.com
laingsoutboards.com
tcoutboard.com
fairwindsmarina.com
salvagemarine.com
marinepartsoutlet.com
Superior Marine (800-338-9281)
Trixie?s Landing, Bayville, NJ 732-269-5838
American Outboard www.americanoutboard.com

Have you considered a solar panel though? I put one on my pontoon boat last year with a 1962 Viking 25hp and it started it all season with never needing to recharge the battery. It is a very cheap alternative.
