Silver tip i know what you are saying about needing specifs when asking a question but when someone doesent know anything about boats you have to understand it is also hard to give spec, when your starting point is no prop every manufacture has a standard they use on an engine as far as searching forums i have been through many pages and i did not find my answer i have no prop on my boat so what did i need not some (edit) from you you have to remeber there are people who dont have a clue about what they need that is why this fourum is here not so you can make someone feel worse so (edit) this will be the last time i ever come here there are plenty of other forums with less (edit)

I hope you read this before you leave.

There is too much good info on this forum to never visit again. If may suggest, keep visiting and become educated beyond anything you can imagine but make a list of posters that you do not respect. Just ignore those posters. With as many rugged individualists as this forum has, feathers will get ruffled from time to time, guaranteed.

Well, I have read your post and Silvertip's attempt to help you, Paleo.

Helpers on any forum can get impatient when they get questions, but not enough information from which to form a useful answer.

I think you have over-reacted to that, and I must point out to you that personal insults are strictly forbidden on iboats. I have edited your post to delete forbidden content.

Go to the Engine FAQs section and read the articles on Prop Selection. That should give you a general idea of the information necessary to make a good decision on a prop. You will then realize that the best prop for a given boat/engine/load/usage package is as individual as getting a pair of shoes that fit and are comfortable.

Now chill a bit and come back to enjoy the help available on the best boating site in the universe.

Guess he told me huh! Seems to me if one knows nothing about boats and doesn't have a prop one might try to educate ones self by searching the web for prop information. Once again, here's the link to iBoats propeller guide.

I guarantee you that with just those three searches you will have enough reading to educate you about how to determine what you need in a propeller and why you need it.

But instead, it is apparently necessary for us to continually repeat the same information over and over again. Even if one didn't know how to search or what to search for, if the poster took the time to read the FAQ's and at least scan the prop forum, they would (or should) come to the realization that the best we can do is a guess, when there is no data to work with.
