Here’s an interesting read, looks pretty good to me, maybe getting some bipartisan support on health care.

<<Bipartisan Blueprint for Health Reform
Ten Senate Leaders Say, “Let’s Fix Health Care Now.”
Senators of Both Parties Hope to Work with the President>>

<< The letter was signed by U.S. Senators Ron Wyden (D-OR), Jim DeMint (R-SC), Kent Conrad (D-ND), Robert Bennett (R-UT), Ken Salazar (D-CO), Trent Lott (R-MS), Maria Cantwell (D-WA), Mike Crapo (R-ID), Herb Kohl (D-WI) and John Thune (R-SD).>>

According to the AP/Chronicle, Bush, "hoping to generate some positive momentum" for his domestic agenda, has accepted the offer." In a letter to Bush, the senators -- Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.),

While I don't like the idea of socialized medicine and hope this proposal doesn't put the Gov't in the health care insurance business, it looks like there is hope.

There are plenty of ways to provide incentives and opportunities to the public to get everyone covered by private insurance without introducing government run health care.

If us old farts would just go ahead and die-not using all those expensive tests; then maybe the premiums would go down:%
