Gimbal Bearing get Seperated .

After attemping to remove my gimbal bearing it came appart leaving piece in the transom plate how can i remove it ?

I use a 3 jaw puller and a slide hammer. in extreme cases I use the same 3 jaw puller and the plate with a pulling bolt/nut arragement.

I guess that would be peace and tranquility. Large hammers and big drifts usually work. That or go and get rotten (disturbing the peace).

Did the bearing carrier break? Usually a 3 jaw puller and a slide hammer works. If the piece is too tight for that, then you may have to start drilling on one place in order to be able to crack it and allow it to come out like that.
