Glossary of Nautical / Boating Terms

Hi,<br /><br />being new to boating (or any hobby / sport for that matter) one is faced with a plethora of terms and acronymns unfamiliar to the newbee.<br /><br />Have any of you ever compiled a list of terms and descriptions and if so are you willing to share these with me? Alternately could someone point me to a site where these are available?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Andrew

Ahoy Andrew,<br />You need to prowl around some used book stores, looking for a copy of the Bluejacket's Manual.. it has it all, plus a little more.
