I think you mean the conversion kit i found here : http://www.mercstuff.com/couplers.htm but i can't guess if that locator pin will exist on the crank.Can you help here?

That information should be available from the people suppling the motor....

I honestly Don't know whether Every single crankshaft for SBCs are drilled for the dowel pin or Not.....

I would Think So,+ If So, it's just a matter of beating In the pin.....
If it's Not so supplied by the seller.....
