going haywires

I go to turn on spreader lights and about 5 toggle switches-indicator red light-come on but spreader lights dont come on , getting ready to trouble shoot , should i be looking for a loose wire/ short/ or is this a ground issue. have 2 batteries onboard with good charge/ twin engine crank over no problem gauges are ok / bilge toggle switch ok /horn,washdown,cockpit,accessory,etc.come on ok.trouble only when turning switch for spreader lights. any info ????

Sounds like the spreader light ground and toggle lights ground are on the same connection and all the other grounds are seperate. Check the spreader light and toggle switch lights ground connection to be sure they have a good connection to ground. Also check the grounds between the batteries.
