going to change my impeller tomorrow

any tips? I been working 9 days strait and tomorrow im off and going to change out the impeller and i got gaskets where the t-stat housing is bolted on that i want to change out cause they look pretty bad. I got a yamaha 115 etlj. Is there anything that i need to know before tackeling this? I got the sealoc manual but it sucks. I have done a few other impellers but not this motor. I just wanted to know if there was anything that i needed to know. Thanks guys!!

other than your pics dont show enough parts to properly do the job ,prayer may help.

I think Rodbolt is suggesting that you change some oil seals and o-rings. If it were my engine I would use a 6E5-W0078-A1-00 water pump repair kit. You also need to get a genuine Yamaha manual for your specific engine. If you do the job with the parts you have in the picture you will be doing it twice. If you are changing thermostat gaskets you should change both thermostats if it has been a long time since they have been changed.

All the gaskets and seals i need are 3 miles from here at cedar creek marina. Im about to get at it. You guys really answered the question that i asked. Thanks for the help.

All im missing from that kit is 6E5-44322-41-00 INSERT CARTRIDGE and 6E5-44323-40-00 OUTER PLATE, CARTRIDGE .
