Right with you on Parker, Lipp. Honestly he seems to have the only plan out the three. And good management skills too. His continuing bonus and the profit sharing plan for the crew is great.

does anyone else see a problem with their operation?

they need $1000 a day to break even, I'm assuming that's to pay the lease 10%, pay for diesel, food etc. Even the experienced claims (schnabel) seem to be happy with $1k a day in gold and they're obviously making money at that.

Yeah I think the claim that they need $1k a day is BS but Parker is no slouch and it appears that he knows what he is doing, intelligent far beyond his years. I look for him to go far in this endeavor. Todd and his band are going to have another tough year I think. I also hope Dakota Fred has bad luck, whether Todd failed to pay for the Lease or not I think Fred is a Snake.

Since there are now three prospecting crews. I wish they did something like Deadliest Catch with totals at the end of the episode. I don't remember how much Fred got out the Hoffman shaker. I do know "The Kid" is leading so far.

For Fred being the "expert" he is tied with the Hoffmans for starting to mine gold - ZERO results.

Got to look at the differences, the schnabels land has probably been owned by the owner for many years, the others are leasing the land. Think Todds crew would go broke even if they made a $1000.00 a day. I'm assuming they are paying interest on all those pieces of equipment they bought also. They definately are going to run at a higher loss every day because they don't know wtf there doing. Sad to think all these guys followed Todd up there and all there dreams are probably going to be crushed. They need a couple hundred grand in gold just to break even.
