Good Mobile Mechanic LI, NY

Hi guys. I really wasn't sure where to post this but it's a topic I need to discuss. I recently bought my first boat and like and older boat, she needs work. I have invested a ton of hours myself and a good amount of cash on 2 different mechanics that didn't work out.

Can anyone please recommend a local mechanic to Mt. Sinai, NY for me? I currently have a bunch of electrical and charging issues I need to work out. Bruceb58 has been a huge help here but I really need a pro on board to help me work through all this.

Sorry, you are a bit too far east for my crowd. I would recommend frequenting the local waterfront watering holes and relying on word of mouth of happy customers.

Most mechanics are terrible with electrical problems. I'm in Patchogue, send me an e-mail and I'll see if I can talk you through some of it. I'm an electrical engineer with many years of experience. If you can use a voltmeter, you should be able to fix your charging problems with a little guidance

Yeah, you are a little to far east for my guy as well. Try posting on noreast.com in the boating section, lots of long island guys and they can probably give you a recommendation. If your a fisherman, it is a great site for fishing info as well. good luck.
