After a few years of not having deer meat in the freezer,I fixed that this morning.Could have shot a doe, but I knew that this buck was behind her.I waited and waited for the buck and even drew on the doe, but had to let down cause she got behind some brush. The buck walked out finally and I drew and he also got in some brush. The doe had seen me draw because I heard her stomping around and acting stupid. She was behind the tree where I couldnt see her, but the buck could and I could tell that he was getting nervous.I had already held my bow back for close to minute and my arm was starting to give out.I looked again at the deer and picked a spot out of the brush and let the arrow fly.He was facing me and I hit him at about the bottom of the neck just on his shoulder. The arrow did not penetrate the deer but stuck in him about half way. When I found him he was about 150 yards away from where I shot him. That deer didnt bleed a DROP.Not even any blood where he ended up falling.I found him by just walking back and forth through the area where I saw him run. When I field dressed him I found that my arrow had hit its mark and taken out one of his lungs and just clipped his heart. Now to finnish processing him and then to make some jerky!

EDIT: I shot him at about 20 yards.
