Been working long hours at work. Seems the Company wants more with less, work smarter not harder. Should've run when the words synergy and empowerment were uttered.
But I have to say, I dont really feel bad for him, and I think he's selfish in a lot of ways. HIm and his family all have lake houses, I think the "phones not ringing" have something to do with him wanting to spend more time at the lake.
Jobs come and jobs go thats life move on and remember what you have learned to make you a better body guy.<br />As far as what he has it is NONE of your buisness. I used to resent a guy I worked for what he had , 2 houses with pools 2 harleys a $10000 lawn mower, new trucks and his wife got a new car every 2 years and it was none of my buisness what he did with his profits.

I have gone over this a few times in my mind also. But in the end i have always relized that it is my name on my paycheck and not others so i will choose what i want to do with my check........
You have no basis for being angry at your former employer. He owes you nothing more than good pay for good work. . .if the work is there. He does not owe you a job if he doesn't have enough work to make you a profitable investment.<br /><br />He said you are a good worker and he would like to have you back if and when the work picks up again.<br /><br />Do not burn bridges. Ask him for references and thank him for the skills you learned in his shop.<br />
Don't burn your good bridges. The owner said your a good worker.<br /><br />If you **** him off he might not tell your possible new boss just how good you are. Or worse tell him your just like all the other worthless teens you really are.
Here is a little secret Ryan, watch what and how he runs his business, then copy him, then when you make his age, you too will have lakes houses and other goodies. <br />Always copy the sucessful guys, and learn what-not-to-do from the un-sucessful guys.<br />Cheers<br />Phillip
