I finally got around to this little 4hp E-rude 1975 (4536) the outside was bit ruff looking but mostly all there, so I checked compression, it was over 100 on both, checked spark it was good but I decided to check under flywheel anyway, & makes it a bit easier to remove carb for a cleaning, so to my surprise I was very lucky to find this under the flywheel, not only was it new looking look closely at the work, the wires were not only run very well, but look atop the coil at the ground wire, & you will see a nice dab of silicone in place to position/hold routing, not visible in photos but the same attention was afforded the other wires, also detectable in the boot ends and on the plug tips were small amounts of dielectric grease. I rcvd this motor from a fellow as payment for swapping a cpl of lower units for him, he told me he got it from the dump. It runs amazingly well, and was at least briefly in the hands of a skilled craftsman who took pride in a job well done !

Looks Nice! I have the same motor in inventory for projects. It looks almost mint condition but haven't got it running yet.
