Doing a google few searches, I found everything from fuel gone bad (about dark green like grass) to Marine Stabil (brighter green) to 89LL aviation fuel (pale green).

some of the gas pictures looked like st Pattys day beer.

I myself am curious. I do know that I have cleaned green sludge out of the fuel systems in my mopeds, lawn mower, pressure washer, a friends Merc 40hp carbs and fuel tanks, as well as a fuel can I had sitting. My suspicion is the fuel starting to go south.

Fiberglass fuel tank? I"ve seen fiberglass tanks deteriorate and tint gas green.

aluminum fuel tank.

hope it wasn't "bad" gas. The gas in the tank was about 6 months old, but treated with Startron which is supposed to prevent such things. Sample photo coming Monday....
