greese fitting

ok i changed my greese fittings on my outboard and it still wont accept greese i think the old greese is hardened how do i fix im go n crazzzy i sprayed wd 40 and even poked with a coat hanger it still wont accept greese is there a EASY BUTTON

first BIG question: is there greese in the gun ?
second maybe take a heat gun , take the zerks back out and point the heat gun in the hole to see if you can soften the old greese in there.

Along Wooster's idea, perhaps pop a zerk in the gun and make sure the gun is able to push grease through the zerk. I've got a couple that just don't work well.

ill try the heat i bought new zerks and changed them a couple times and YES virginia there is a santa claus O i mean YES there is greese in the gun its the zerks to greese the trim im about to say forgettaboutit

ok , while you have the heat gun on the hole with out the zerks , work the trim up/down
it may help work the old gresse out

just one thing i dont have a heat gun not to sound stupid maybe a torch or a hair dryer idk im trying

oh , i dont think a hair dryer would put out enough heat, you could use a propane tourch
but dont get to close with it and have a fire extinguisher CLOSE BY!!!!

ok hair dryer s adumb idea ill see if one of my friends have a heat gun if this doesnt work maybe ill use it melt my eye brows or something lol

you have a harbor freight near by ? you can pick up a heat gun cheap.
