Has the motor run since you installed the new Tack?
If not put things back the way they were and see what you get.
Your new tack could be grounding out your fire

Did you try it without the boat wiring harness?
I would be suspecting RIWD.... "rodent-inflicted wiring discontinuity".

I spent a week troubleshooting a snowmobile ignition issue.....FINALLY found a chewed wire... the little %$#@@! chewed from the backside and the insulation was intact....at least the half tthat was obviousy visible was intact. :)

You have been through all the major ccomponents so the wiring is the obvious next search area. IMO.

Thanks guys, yes it has ran since the tack install happened and it ran good, I have checked just about everything, I am going to open the remote and check the ignition switch.

Just another question, These engines will generate spark without the key switch hooked up, like say I disconnect the harness at the big red plug and hook a remote start switch as long as the grounds are good and the starter is turning the motor fast enough, it should still generate spark? Am I correct in my thinking? Thanks.

Yep, you're correct in your thinking.

However.... before you try that, make a plan how to stop it just in case it starts.

Thanks Joe, it won't start as it has no fuel hooked up to it at this time, I will be checking the spark at the power pack with the coils disconnected from the power pack, I just want to see without the key switch in the system if it is generating the spark pulse to the power pack, I checked everything under the flywheel yesterday and they all fell within the readings that CDI said they should and there is nothing dripping from under the flywheel.
