I seen that happen on an ironhead sporty before but with a happier ending. That picture does make me miss my shovels though. Keep us updated on this project Flathead.

Wowzer!!!!!!!!!!! That's how shovels got the name "trouble heads". That is also why Harley went to the long studs in the Evo and the TC88.<br /><br />Have heard stories from the old timers in the dyno lab having same failures.
