Happy BDay to me

Life will never be the same.
I woke up this morning to find myself in my 40th year, just recently I have been asking myself questions like: whats it all about, is this as good as it's going to get, all of the England cricket team are at least 15yrs younger than me, if only I'd listened at school etc.
The wife says I'm having a mid life crissis,
At least thats one thing I've worked hard for that I'm going to get.
Isn't the human body a wonderful thing, you can abuse it for so long and it still keeps on going. On that note this is my first day as a non smoker.

I had you pegged around the 60 mark, cricket is an old mans game isn't it? :}

And then there's your pretty young wife............she must have just left school when you wed! :^

Oh well, you desert the sinking ship of smokers, I'll have to smoke a few more or BAT will go out of business! How you going to give up? I need to be joining you on that mission very shortly...............have you seen the price????? :^

Yup. Sounds like midlife crisis, but you still have 10 years of youth left.

My son turned 40 in January. He is having similar feelings.

Beware: 90% of the stupid things men do have to do with women and the other 10% happen in their 40s.

Congrats on reaching late youth.

Thanks for the good wishes.

I have to confess that I didn't go the whole day without a smoke, I had 1 at lunch time ( I was climbing the walls), I would normally smoke 20+ a day so I'm very happy with my efforts. Tomorrow I will try one of those patches.

Time to get on the outside of a few cold beers.ddd

Happy Birthday, Are you going "Cold Turkey"?
I gave up for 4 years when I turned 40 and here I am 45 and smoking like a chimney. Better luck to you!
