He is moving around on the floor stud. Should I wait for him to stop making moving around noise ? Then remove 2 T V outlet covers & the boxes.
Then pull him out with a stick and nail ?
Open to all ways of doing it.
Wife said let him die and dry out till odor, if any, stops. Leave him in the wall.

You can always start blasting a shotgun in the direction of the noise and repair the wall later ... lol!

We got invaded a few years back. A mouse can fit in a crack the thickness of of two quarters. These loaded with peanut butter will solve the problem quickly and kills instantly. Use zero poison or glue traps. If you gotta kill and not eat it make it as quick as possible.

How did he get in there that he can’t get out?

Bacon grease or peanut butter on a trap should solve the problem

While shooting it may be more fun, trapping would probably be a better option. If you can't get access with a trap, they make poisons that actually keep them from stinking thru the chemicals they eat in the poison. Within days they turn to a clump of dust or powder. "D Con" was one of the first to have that feature, not sure if they still do...

Gee, when I tore out the paneling in a house I just bought, I found about 6 dried mice bodies, suitable for Egyptian tombs. I was happy to get them out.

Any cats, dogs, snakes, owls etc can grab these if they happen upon then while dying or immediately afterwards and poison themselves. With bait they will come out of the wall and get killed instantly. No need to kill innocent bystanders.

Along with some lock-able bait traps.

You should find out where the probable points of entry are and place the traps near the line of travel.

When I moved into this house there were mice everywhere. Trapped them all, went around outside and sealed every hole I could find. No problem for 10 years. Until last year. At the first sign of a mouse I setup traps again. Got a couple within a couple days, thought that was it. Checked the foundations again and didn’t find any entrance points. Well, 20 mice later, including baby mice that were still barely able to walk showed up on the basement floor, disposed of them and now no issues again. Dang sneaky critters!

Poster says mouse is trapped inside his wall and can't get out....otherwise I would agree with you.

I use "TomCat" appears to be same stuff from the label. They also have traps that contain the mouse, and traps that contain mouse and the poison if you go that route.
