Well I did take the boat and trailer to the scales this morning with half a tank of fuel it weighed 8000 pounds and trailer manufacture says trailer weighes 1235.

Maybe if it's a single axle.
If your trailer is a tandem axle and steel, my guess is the trailer weighs in around 1800 lbs.
You also weighed the trailer/fuel and whatever else is on the boat. It doesn't take long to put on the weight:D:D:D

my last tandem axle trailer is about 1200# the current one under my Cruisers is about 1300#

I do know that tandem trailer's do way that little. I have spoke with the manufacture and have the build sheet from them in 85 and it shows 1235. So I would say the boat is about 6700 pounds with half tank fuel and life jackets in it. I also weighed the front and it is a tad nose light it was 580 pounds meaning boat needs to go forward. Which will make loading even harder. But with it were it is it does not pull tail heavy just cruised pulled it saturday to the river which is 57 miles each way running between 55 - 75 mph depends were I was and pulls great.
