Are used if having a sib/rib with a small/insufficient engine "to plane quickly without moving weight forward " lazzyness issues :D The propaganda states miracles, who knows ? in case you buy them, let us all know how they worked out...

Re: Have you used LIFTERS tabs?

I tried a set a few years ago on my Avon 340. I can't remember the specifics, but they slowed me down a lot on top end.
I fussed around with different positions and such and then ebay'd them.

Re: Have you used LIFTERS tabs?

I had lifters, the really large surface area does keep your bow down, made my boat plane at lower speeds and improved my handling in chop.

I didn't like the fact that my prop could hit the lifters when I turned in shallow water drive positioning on my outboard. I had some issues with longevity, but I have a bigger boat (zodiac futura 2) with a 40 hp 3cyl outboard and launch big time when heading out through large waves to surf. You will notice on their website that they exclude futura hulls (that would be because of me). Whether the speed tubes on my inflatable were the issue or not I can't say, but I think that the lifters weren't up to serious abuse. So I went to Smart tabs for the more permanent installation. If I ran a smaller outboard, in more sane conditions and still rolled up my boat I would consider them again. Goofy big surface area, but they do work at low speed in small inflatables.

I did not observe much decrease in top end speed on my boat.
