Having some trouble

Hey everyone i'm have some trouble finding a picture with the parts labled on a 1980 35hp johnson motor model#J35ELCSM. Its a tiller handle and i removed some parts making an attempt to fix a problem. Big Mistake, theres a spring that connects to the trottle control and i'm not sure how to put it back the way it was, now my Idling is messed up plus the trottle doesnt match the Tiller handle. Can anyone help me out, hope i gave enough information.

Try the diagrams HERE
The tiller itself is shown on the exhaust housing diagram but the spring that I think you refer to is shown on the cylinder and crankcase diagram.

Getting the tiller and the throttle to match is I think a question of getting the gears meshed correctly.
