hi all i am after some help, i finaly fixed me gearbox problems and went for a 5 minute run on the weekend with my 1994 50hp force and all was going fine then i saw a little steam coming from the outboard so i shut it down as soon as i could slow the revs down. i crawled back to the jetty with my aux. didnt hear my overheat alarm go off at all (have tested since and it doesnt work).. i left it over night til i was going to flush it but i am now unable to start it just winds over and over, got it to fire one time and was running fine but since that time it wont go at all i get a quick fire but then nothing. i need to do a compression test but waiting on a mates tester. is there a cut out switch/relay i may have wrecked?? a mate over heated his outbaord and did a relay but unsure where to start on this out board. any help would be great.
