:confused::confused:i just replaced my whole cooling system and now the second gasket benith the spark plugs bubbles alitte is the head gaskets it seems to be metal runs ok

sounds fine just breaking in maybe tighten torq to values to be sure.

You might want to rent a laser temp gun from a local auto parts store. Check both heads for temps. You should see in the 135-155 range-that's normal. Anything more than that at idle and it could be a problem. The powerhead will cool down more than these temps when the boat is on plane. 212 is an overheat.

i diddent change those gaskets and the motor wasent very hot could hold my hand on it the thermo stat just opened not really sure it was the head gasket and what are the torq values? thanks

Torque the cylinder head screws to 18-20 Foot Pounds. The outer screws are for the water cover - those are 60-84 Inch Pounds.

If you had the cylinder heads off to inspect the water passage deflectors, you should never re-use the head gaskets. The head gaskets are crush gaskets that once used are no good.
