I've got a Four Winns 224 with a marine head. Love it, but don't have easy access to a pump out station and I have two kids who love to use the head. Someone told me that there is a way to rig the head with a bag and/or liner so that the waste stays in the head and does not go into the holding tank so that you can pull the bag out when you're done for the day and just throw it away. Sounds simple enough, and I'm sure I could figure it out, but, if you've done something similar to that, would be interested to hear about how you rigged it.

Re: Head Help Needed

I am in sort of the same predicament, and have decided to use a dedicated shop-vac as a pump out. There are models available that are equipped with a pump on top that uses a garden hose, my situation may be different as I have a sewer lift station about 100 feet from the dock where the Shop Vac can be emptied. With that being said, understand that our head is not used for solids of any kind. Just a suggestion!

Re: Head Help Needed

Unfortunately, one of my daughters never seems to have to go No. 2 until we have just gotten out to the middle of the lake and everyone else is ready to tube/kneeboard, etc. I therefore do have some solids.
