My 2000 f115 has run perfect for yrs then last week oil alarm sounded .shut off engine fired it back up then we reved it up alarm come on and engine made a whinning noise on idle it seemed to go away pulled out boat put oil gauge on engine. on idle it bounces from 20-40 psi. then I rev up engine to 1500-2000 rpms pressure drops to10-20psi bouncing back & forth.when pressure drops i hear the whinning noise. tryed new oem filter,no change.Afraid I have internal trouble!spun main?oil pump?I'm checking oil pump first .Removing powerhead hace 6 long bolts out. 2 short ones at back removed. lifting engine straight up with chain lift. seems around back of engine its loose but is holding by the crank. I'm told its only a spline.do I get rough or is there somthing else holding it?:
