Help finding float for carb.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can pickup a carb float for a 1964 Evinrude 40hp Big Twin. I normally buy my parts here on Iboats but I don't think they stock it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if maxrules.com does not have you can try Fairwinds Marina in Annapolis MD. They have them. I just purchased one this weekend. They carry tons of NOS parts for OMC.

Thanks for the link! I do have another question. Could I have ruined my new fuel pump by running the motor while no fuel going to it. Reason I ask is my float went bad (stuck) and wasn't able to free it. I was about 9 miles from shore so I just manually ran the fuel line from the tank to the carb and pumped little by little to keep it running. (fuel pumped unhooked) Just curious if I might have toasted this new pump.

Nope. That diaphragm pump doesn't care if there is fuel in there or not.
