HELP going from a mercury to an evinrude HELP

Hi all I just purchased a 1986 17 ft astroglass 175v! The previous owner took the mercury motor and controls off the boat. My boat is a 16 ft delta with a 70hp evinrude could someone tell me if this is going work on the astroglass! What all would I have to do to make the evinrude work on the astroglass?

Install it and use evinrude/johnson controls too. It will work.

If the boat has a trim indicator you'll need to swap it out and verify that it's wired correctly for the "new" engine.
