You are running in the water and not on a hose?

Pick up a piece of clear hose, clamps and doubled barbed fitting at the hardware store. Connect the clear hose between seawater pump and thermostat housing. Your looking for bubbles

update. 5 hrs run time and temps OK but not stellar. There are a few hot spots on the risers about 195, but most areas in 169’s. However, oil temps at the remote oil filter after a 30 minute run of 3k rpms were 245deg.
good thing for synthetic oil!

the clear hose idea has not been tried. What are the bubbles in the “lift pump” stream a sign of? I know bubbles in the water used in the combustion chamber stream are an indicator of a blown head gasket? Would a clear hose from the exhaust manifold to the thermostat housing be a visible sign for exhaust gas bubbles?

Maybe not, could be from that or intake hose, or water pumP
Bubbles going to exhaust is the last leg so could have happened before
