I think it is probably the Rochester, as it has 2 mixture screws, but am not 100% sure. Also, as I understand it, the electric choke is activated by pushing in on the key? I didn't know my key did that. Is it possible there's another way to activate it?

Thanks for any help.

So, is the key "push in" how you activate the choke? The guy I bought it from said the choke didn't work... help anyone?

no,the choke is closed by a spring under the cover where the 2 wires are.with the key on it should heat the spring and allow it to relax, opening the choke.sometimes the heater will burn out and people will turn the tension off the spring so the motor doesnt run rich.take off the spark arrester and see if it closes when cold.open throttle a tad.then turn the key on and swee if it opens on its own.2-3 minutes i believe should do it.
