help me find my post

On sunday the 25th of june i connected the battery posts in reverse i put up a post to find out what damage i caused and thanks to this site and members i believe I am on the right track but its not here anymore can anyone tell me how to find it or am i blind there should be links when you sighn in to your posts???? I AM CONFUSED CAN ANYONE HELP?

i remember your post , but you don't exist anymore. probably all you did was fry the rectifer. you can run the motor but disconnect the rectifer and insulate the wires cso nothing shorts. your battery will not charge while disconnected so keep it charged. you need to order and replace asap. very simple job only about 4 screws.

rod wood, ive done the same thing when i helped a guy with a jump at the gas station i noticed cuz my trim was working backwords i cought it before i tryed 2 start it up but now my tech dont work everthing else works fine let me know what you find out

AquanutZ, you need to replace your rectifer also. the tach works off it. 99% of the time you cross your cables you are going to blow the rectifer.
