Re: Help Me Please

Hmmmmm.
Well, it looks to be a Chrysler Force.
I'm not to familiar with these older models, but since it has a distributor, and 3 cylinders, and 3 carbs;

I can only narrow it down to one of the following,
a 1975-76-77 90 hp,
1 1977- 83 85 hp
or a 1975-83 75 hp

Look around inside the motor, under the carbs for a model or serial number.
It may look like 906BB, 850HID, or 752hb

I wish I could be of more help, but perhaps someone else can id it from the photo.

Re: Help Me Please

Some of the older engines have an ID plate in the housing underneath the carbs (not on the engine itself). The carbs themselves may have numbers on them but that will be just the carb part numbers. Just give it a good look over for any numbers you may find. There are so many similar looking engines that trying to ID it on site alone isn't reliable. Hang in there!

Re: Help Me Please

Most of the Force motors had a plate rivited in side the motor houseing, twards the front . If you could get a part number off the power head and it was never changed out ,I would think you could get a year for it. Send me a couple good pictures and I will send them to a guy that may be able to tell you the year. hoghunter51@hotmail.com

Here in Mississippi if that little plate isnt there they look at it as a stolen motor, just gives them a reason to run as many checks as they can so they have somthing to do. Now thats just redneck thinking.:p
