Help needed

I have owned inboard boats just got a 16.5 Dusky with a Yamaha 115 2 stroke. The motor will not turn over if you spin the fly wheel it makes one turn and locks up does this mean blown motor or i hope something simply if it works like my old boat inboard outboard 350 it should turn non stop please help.

Doesn't sound good. The engine may have some internal damage. You may want to try removing all of the spark plugs then try turning the engine over. If you inspect the plugs you may get some clues as to what happened i.e. water in the cylinders or metal floating around inside from a powerhead failure.

To determine exactly what end of the motor is locking up, remove the gearcase and see if the problem is in the powerhead or the lower unit.
