I am in need of a couple of thermostats for a 1993 120hp "120TLET"
I looked on this site, but it does not list the 120hp. In looking at the picks. They do not look like the thermostats that I removed. The ones that I removed are black plastic with a screw stud on one end and a spring that is separate from the stats I look on the forum and posters have stated that the thermostats should be replaced with white ones. I am wondering if these are in fact the thermostats, does not look like any thermostat that I have ever replaced in the Auto business before
I have ordered a manual off of E-Bay.
I just bought this boat 19' Predator tunnel that was not used but once a year in saltwater. It started right up, but no water from the tell tale. There is corrosion around the head gaskets, but I am afraid to remove them (Snowball effect) I am a Master ASE auto tech and know my way around.
The question that I have is it worth removing the heads and replacing the gaskets or just replace the pump assy and thermostats to see what happens?
Thanks for your advise on this
Mike
