Just picked this motor up the wires from the stator are pretty fried so have to replace that. Where can I find that part and also what size bolts do I need to use to pull the flywheel off

Same puller and same bolts as the 67 model 20 hp I think.

Imagine that being the same on small Johnson / Evinrude outboards for 60 years or more !

Ok thanks I’m having a hard time finding the correct parts. But main issue is not know what model the motor is. The plate on the side of the mounting bracket doesn’t have anything on it. Is there another way to know?

post a picture of it.

Look for a core plug about the size of a quarter on the power head. If you find any #'s on it, post them.
