hi need to know if you can swap the tilt/trim unit from a 1983 yamaha mod 50etlk to a 1983 yamaha 70hp would be buying this from ebay, so really need to know, need it for my 70hp, thanx, glenn
hello<br /> you need to look at the part numbers for the complete units on the yamaha parts website. without the model numbers all I can say is best I remember the 3cyl proV and the 3cyl 70 both used the 6H1 unit.
That is an 85 model based on the model number. I don't think there were any 83 models imported. The first were 84's. If he has an 84 or 85 model it should work. the 86 model was different and requires some modifications to work.
