This may sound stupid but let all the air out of the tires and that may give you something to work with for now..

Yes, quite logical, but I'm afraid doing so would ruin the beads on the tires.

How about cutting the vertical posts on the SS frame and installing couplers on the stubs that are left. The top of the SS frame could just be set back in place when needed. You could then have the screen cut down at a plastics place, or do it yourself, to the height needed. You may be able to use thinner material on the trailer bunks to cut a bit more height. If you want to save another inch or so of height in the windscreen, you could lower the pressure on the trailer tires a little and roll it into the garage. You can loet out a lot of air on a tire before the bead will come loose if you are not putting to much lateral force on them like when you go around a hard turn at speed. Once it's in position in the garage you could put jack stands under the trailer in a few spots to keep weight off the tires and leave them deflated. This makes them last longer anyway. Or you could reinflate them. Just remember to deflate them once again before you pull the boat out.

Sorry, I started this thread and passed on this type of boat. Hopefully it will help someone down the road.

On a side note: Does someone remember the thread where a guy placed a "winch?" at the end of the garage and winched his boat into the garage? I like to read that thread again.

Take off the windshield and grab bar, store it in your garage. When it comes time to sell the boat, reinstall it. That will make the whole boat look new.

Add some low grabrails around the console. You'll never miss the windshield.

Don't let it all out but most of it. Do it all the time on my 4x4's for better traction. I'd worry more about the sidewalls. Trailer tires have a stiffer sidewall than truck tires.
