Glad it worked out for you, cause swapping from an inline engine to a V, ain't straight and simple. The stringers are different.

Those who drink just have an easier time making complete fools of themseves. You just had to work harder at it.

Might be you did a good job at it,but anyway .....

Glad it worked for you.

Re: Help this dummy, please?

Somebody made a reference to the "magic fingers" tool. EVERYBODY should own one. Mine sits right on top of my tool box and is one of the most frequently used tools in the box.

Working on boats and snowmobiles, I am always dropping nuts, bolts, washers, etc. under the motors. Grab the tool, and they're out in seconds (it works where a magnet won't...like on non-ferrous metals). If you don't have one- get one. They're only a couple of bucks at Harbor Freight and worth ten times as much.

Side note: The "Magic Fingers" tool is also great for pulling out mouse nests from tight areas that might otherwise have to be disassembled.

I totally agree on the "Magic Fingers", but they don't call it that . . . If you Google that you'll get an opportunity for a massage though  Anyway, the description at Harbor Freight is 24" TWO-IN-ONE PICKUP TOOL (has a magnet too) They are $1.99 and I keep one on the boat for getting stuff that falls into the bilge or behind a panel etc. Great tool.

For future refereance CRANE CAMS make a tdc locator out of brass that cost about 8 bucks. You can order it through your local hot rod shop or at summitracing.com:D:D
