Help to Abandon Oil Injection

Can someone tell me or direct me to a link on the correct method to abandon my oil injection system. My motor is an ?89 Merc V6 135hp. and I?m going to go to mixed gas. Thanks!

Why???? The oil injection system on those engine is very reliable.

If you really want to: Remove all the tanks and oil hoses, remove the tee in the fuel line that the oil feeds....replace the fuel lie to eliminate the tee, remove the oil pump,adapter and shaft and install plug part #43453, remove the oil injection warning module.

Thanks for the info. I've been going back and forth on this one. I'm currently rebuiding the motor from a oil injection failure. The hose from the oil tank to the tee split and blew oil all over the motor and none in the fuel. Since oil was flowing the alarm didn't sound. Just seams safer to mix after throwing big bucks into the rebuid.
