I recently tore up my prop,I ordered new prop from iboats,as per my specs,I recieved prop, part number 56-072107.everything looked right,it had correct splines, correct pitch.when I went to install, I couldn't get prop to go on all the way.I compared it to my old prop and noticed ,that the inside hub of new prop is thicker than my origanal, because of this,it won't allow new prop to go by the shafts bushing.without the bushing new prop goes on too far and rubs on anode.does anyone run across This? Any help would be greatly appreciated.no more boat until I find the right prop,or rebuild my old one, for the third time

what year/hp is your Force - the 072107 is a 17p prop. and should fit force 1980's models Force 85 and 125. Do you have any pictures of old and new and your gear case ?

The inside hub of new prop is a sixteenth inch thicker than my old prop, could it be possible, that the bushing, behind prop, was replaced,to fit old prop?the only numbers on the old prop are 17 and k2259 .the number on the bushing is523099-1

hmmm - attach some pics - that prop should fit unless Michigan messed something up when making it - as for the "Bushing" that is the thrust washer and is the correct one

see this pic from my prop - i made it to help folks out a few years ago
