help with 6hp johnson

Hi all I hope someone can help me I have just taken a 6hp johnson in part exchange for a air con unit today and was woundring the year ect model number:J6BACTA serial number:BOO3582, also there is a socket on the side i'm not sure off and last of all is there a kill switch on this model, it is pumping water great from the pee hole but the water slows as i rev it

Check the nipple on the indicator hose for obstruction (I use a paperclip). Your motor is a '83. Pee stream shouldn't become weaker w/higher rpm.. hopefully the nipple has crud in it, if not, check the hose and it's connector to the powerhead. If all that's good, it could be a water tube grommet pinched over or faulty (could be upper or lower).. also, check water intake ports to be sure they're clear and waterpump has a good supply.

Thanks for the fast replys gents I have just cleaned the pee hole and pipe back to the head and all seems fine I blew it out useing compresser at last I might of had a good deal (be a first for me) I will take it out at the weekend and give it a run and report back
