I have a 1990 4 hp Suzuki that has been sitting for about a year with fuel in it. I flushed out the fuel tank. The engine fires up on the first pull with starting fluid, but then it dies immediately. I checked the fuel line going to the carberator and it is clear, and fuel does get to the carberator. Suspect carberator is the problem. Can I take the carberator off and clean; or do I have to buy a carberator kit? Also, does anyone know what size wrench is needed to remove the carberator. I suspect they are metric. Is there an easy fix? Thanks for any help, in advance.
