Help with part #

1989 9.9 Johnson J10RlCES.

I was using the motor Friday and all of a sudden I lost power at full throttle. It works find at half trottle and starts and runs while in neutral. I figured carb right off the bat. I removing the fuel pump to check the screen to make sure that wasn't the problem before I removed the carb.


Found a peice of plastic inside the motor when I removed the fuel pump I have a # but none of the catalogs list it. It has a small set screw in the end and the # that's on the piece is 331169. Any one know what it is? It was laying right under the fuel pump.

The piece goes up against the roller cam follower on the carb. I knew I saw the piece before and did some searching on the motor. When you twist the throttle it slides along the follower. It's under the flywheel. Any one know the name of the part?

Nope checked all the part no. and pictures not on any of the picures.

I just checked Shop.Evinrude.com and came up with part # 323327. Has the screw in it and sits on top of the carb.
