I've recently purchased a 1977 55hp evinrude and am looking into a spare prop, just looking for prices and maybe an ebay find if priced right. I cannot find any markings on the prop that is currently on the motor. All I found was on the stern end of the prop hub and it has michigan and pj 60. I am going to assume this is a michigan wheel prop but can't find any other markings or info. Can anyone help? I looked up info on Michigan wheel's web site and found a few possible sizes. 12-1/4 X 15 and 12 1/2 X 13.
I have not put the motor on the boat yet since I bought it at a garage sale for $100 and need to buy a steering cable and build an area to steer from. The boat is a mid 1980's smokercraft 16 foot deep v most of the time it will just be my wife and I fishing from it. I also have a 9.9 yamaha for a kicker that is on the boat right now until I get the bigger motor running.
Thanks in advance for any info.

You can measure the diameter. Measure from the tip of one blade to the center of the prop shaft and multiply by 2. 15P will put you in the ballpark for that engine/boat.
