i am reposting this from the Boat Restoration and Building forum hoping for some help

ok i went and did it this is my new family member i am going to pick it up this weekend i got it through eBay only $150.00
can anyone tell me the correct year i
and did i do good

i have been looking for sites with pictures of 1970's crestliners to help me figure out what i have with no luck anyone tell me where i can find some info\picture from this era?????????

Made from late 60s or early 70s thru at least 1980. It is eaither a Muskie 15 or Muskie 17
Yours looks pre 72. I say that cause a post 71 would have its Info number cast into the transom on the starboard side. Also the Creatliner logo is pre 75

thanks i know that it is 17' so that helps where can i get pictures to see what it looked like new and other info ie:weight hp rating anything. i cant seem to find much online about 1970 era crestliners i am picking up the bout this weekend and will be able to get the hin # then but i would like to find out as much as possible before i start my rebuild so i can decide if i want to go back to original or just make it custom

I have a 1979 AMF Crestliner. The model ID plate is an the port gunwale about midship. Says it's a Muskie 550; person I bought it from says it's 15 ft.; online data I found indicates it's 15.1 ft.

I can get some photos posted if you like. In fact I would like to see 1970s Crestliner forum with a gallery.
