I got some bad newn for yall. I just came from a little run from DFW to midland. The bad news is, Yall appear to be just as dry as west Texas, when you figure yall are in the near 30" per year rainfall area and Midland is in the 11" per year average rainfall, Me thinks yall gona have a hot dry summer.

Yup, heycods. Gotten pretty dry and too danged hot for early June. <br /><br />The Hideout is in 22"/yr territory, but last year we only got 11". The spring rain we had in early May was very welcome, but none since. <br /><br />BTW, if you are gonna be in the area and headed to Midland, give me a shout. The Hideout is only about 10-15 miles out of the way and I will have a cold one in the fridge for ya.

Very slightly better to the north of the Metromess, but not much..hot hot hot..I am almost tempted ot buy an airconditioner!

I wish DFW would have some serious rain...they need it and I need the water to come down to fill up the lake..I have a new pier and no water to go with it! plus, I'm spending a fortune watering the yard! Don't know when they'll go on rationing......it was brought up this weekend.....I sure wouldn't mind a little depression coming in from the gulf to give us 4-6 inches....follow the I-45 corridor up to Dallas!
