Hello and good day!

I am rebuilding an old gal HC BT and need a source for the small 8" shcks they used on it.

trailer frame is awesome!!!

I replaced a set on one a few years ago, I just took off the old shocks and went to the local autoparts store, (NAPA) and simply matched them up.
Not sure what they fit, but we just went by length open, length closed and bolt style and found a set that was really close.

Hey HOJ99! I'm in the process of refurbing my 1956 Holsclaw trailer too and a couple of months ago I found this thread about the shocks on a Holsclaw.

I think the ones I picked up for mine are the same thing but I'll have to go home and check for sure. You're right these trailers were built to last. I had mine powdercoated back to original colors and it is looking sharp!!! I cannot wait to get it done.
