Hose From Power Steering To Intake

I have a hose that runs from my power steering plate on top of the engine a connection on the top of the engine. It fails off all the time but was never clamped (unless the clamp is lost. What is this hose and can I clamp it? I have a 1988 3.7L mercrusier engine.

I notice the boats performance suffers when this line is not connected.

If you mean the large black hose, it is for the crankcase venting systen. Connects to the valve cover and the flame arrestor of the carb.

Yup that’s it, I’m missing the clamp and it falls off for on time to time. I’ll clamp it, thanks.

Regular hose clamp will work perfectly.
