hose size??

please,what size is the hose from the t-stat housing to back of engine?
in this picture it is running between valve cover and carb. base.
looks like heater hose and how long is it?

Remove the hose, measure it's length with a tape meauser, and measure the size of the hose barb on the front of the engine. It's either 5/8" or 3/4" dia.

Of subject.... Back in those days it was acceptable to use rubber fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb. But you'd be doing yourself a favor if you converted it steel line.
That and get rid of that glass fuel filter... those are terrible.

If you insist on keeping it all.... then please please double clamp all your fuel lines.
