I put in the hot water bypass hose. put 3 gallons of pink antifreeze and ran all faucets until pink comes out but when i turn on the hot water, nothing happens. The pump turns on but nothing comes out and not even air. Why?????

What is this "bypass" hose you mention.?
most water heaters have only a cold-in. hot-out. most cases you just drain the hot water tank.
If you mean the 2 larger hoses that go to the engine, these only supply hot water from the engine to heat the fresh water in the hot water heater tank.

It's a water line system that re-routes the cold line to the hot water line so antifreeze does not go into the water heater.

Do you have the valves turned to the proper position?

Don`t know your particulars, but on some there are three valves, one for cold in (shut position), one for hot out (shut position) and one for bypass (open) If either of the other two are open, it will run into the hot water tank.

I have a cold in and hot out on my tank. I took them both off the tank and tied them together with the bybass hose. the valves were turned in the correct direction but nothing comes out when I switch to hot. It actually comes out a little adn then air but eventually stops all together.

You might not have put enough antifreeze in the system. 3 gallons might not be enough, I probably have that alone just in my water lines.
